Engineering Services
In 2008, CENTECH provided support in the area of Communication Navigation Identification (CNI) systems development. We provided expertise concerning the design, development and integration of highly complex communication navigation identification architectures and systems. Our team reviewed, evaluated, provided input, monitored, and reported status on air vehicle acceptances, change requests, change proposals, specifications, verification and validation plan, technical order source data, and technical orders relating to communication navigation identification environment, variances and deficiency reports, interoperability certification, frequency allocations, CNS/ATM SAAM certification, performance improvement proposals, and diagnostic health management issues.
On this contract performed between 2008 and 2012, CENTECH provided engineering integrated assessments for Maintenance Training Systems and other efforts such as Peening Test Extension; Ground Vibration Test; Horizontal Tail Edge Seams Gap Filler Cracking; Wheel Well Hydraulic Tubes; and HUD-to-DMVR Video configuration change-out. We also conducted technical analyses of individual avionic systems and subsystem integration non-conformances to include root cause investigation, acceptance test methods, corrective actions, and technical risk assessment during production at the supplier and prime build processes.
From 2008 to 2011, CENTECH researched human factors enhancements in Global Hawk Ground Segment software release number 7.4.4 in order to provide a recommendation on whether this software was critical for entering operational test & evaluation. Out team collected and managed inputs on Human Computer Interface improvements for pilots, sensor operators and maintainers as well as collected comments on technical packages supporting Joint Configuration Control Boards. We reviewed and provided comments on Ground Segment re-architectural initial release of Specifications & Requirements as well as reviewed Software Sustainment Working Group Meeting minutes and Program Action Request.
