Certifications/Accreditations/Best Business Practices

CENTECH’s approach to project planning and implementation is driven by industry practices including ISO, ITIL, PMBoK and CMMI standards. The results of our efforts include industry credentials and accolades that are hard to find in a company our size.

Certifications and Accreditations: 

CENTECH achieved ISO/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 20000-1:2005 certification in February  2011.

CENTECH achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in January 2010.

CENTECH achieved initialISO 9001:2000 certification in December 2004 and has maintained that ongoing certification through the semi-annual inspections from certified ISO auditors.

In May 2007, CENTECH underwent a Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) was determined to have met the goals of CMMI Maturity Level 3.

On April 26, 2006 CENTECH underwent a CMMI Class C appraisal for its Level 3 Processes and has since then distributed those assessed processes to all divisions for implementation and use on their projects.

On August 31, 2006, CENTECH underwent a CMMI Class B appraisal for its Level 3 processes and will undergo a Class A SCAMPI appraisal in October 2006 for its Training Solutions Division.

Since 2005, CENTECH has required all of our project managers to attain and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

CENTECH team members also include ITIL certified professionals at all levels.

We maintain a Dun & Bradstreet credit rating of 4A2, (see D&B public record #19-134-1627).

The CENTECH corporate headquarters located in Falls Church is a Secret cleared facility.

CENTECH currently has cleared personnel on staff at all security levels including Top Secret, Secret and Top Secret/SCI.
