Mid-Level/Senior-Level Network Engineers – PVN 2681 Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking mid-level/senior-level network engineers to perform troubleshooting and resolution for an IP based network consisting of Cisco routers, switches, load balancing modules, SSL, Gigabit, proxies and firewalls. Responsibilities include developing and testing new LAN/WAN applications and hardware to improve productivity. These positions will require you evaluate, test, customize and document new LAN/WAN releases and hardware upgrades. Qualified candidates will also create diagrams of new or revised solutions for transition to operational support and provide support to maintain network related hardware, software, and network tools as a Tier 3 support activity. The minimum qualifications for any of the network engineer positions are five (5) years experience in the information technology (IT) networking field and the ability to work independently. Candidates must have a strong understanding of IP and related protocols, and telecom circuits. Candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and have U.S. citizenship. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field and Cisco Certification CCNP or equivalent is desired.

Program Manager-PVN 2682 Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager with a combination of technical expertise, on-site government customer experience, and strong management experience. Responsibilities for this position include oversight of contract activities; setting policies and procedures, technical standards and methods and priorities. This person will also coordinate the management of all work performed on tasks under the contract; coordinate the efforts of the subcontractors, team members (employees) and vendors. This person will act as the central point of contact with the contracting officer (CO), the contracting officer’s technical representative (COTR), and other client officials and you will work closely with the task managers in planning and supporting the execution of the tasks. Knowledge of earned value management highly desirable for this position.

Network Engineer Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a network engineer. A minimum of five plus (5+) years of experience in the IT networking field is required. Candidates must also have a strong understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) and related protocols, and telecom circuits. Candidates must also have good communications skill and the ability to work without being supervised. This position will require 10% travel. All candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and must have U.S. citizenship. Cisco certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent is desired.

Network Engineer III – Data Center Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a network engineer III. A minimum of ten plus (10+) years of experience in the IT networking field is required. Candidates must have an expert understanding of networking, IP and related protocols. Candidates must also have very strong technical writing and communications skills. They must have an expert understanding of data center technologies, including Blade Server switching technology, storage area networks (SANs), virtualization solution, load balancing technologies, deployment and support. They must have knowledge of multiple vendor data center solutions and deployment is a plus but must have a strong knowledge of Cisco Data Center products. Less that 5% travel will be required for this position. Candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and must have U.S. citizenship. Certification as a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), CCNP or VSP equivalent is desired. Position requires bachelor’s degree in IT or similar area of discipline.

Network Engineer III – Core and Distribution Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a network engineer III. A minimum of ten plus (10+) years of experience in the IT networking field is required. Candidates must have an expert understanding of networking, IP, protocols. Candidates must also have very strong technical writing and communications skills. They must have an expert understanding of Cisco routing and switching technologies, deployment and support. Knowledge of multiple vendor data center solutions and deployment is a plus. Less that 5% travel will be required for this position. Candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and must have U.S. citizenship. Certification as a CCIE, CCNP or VSP equivalent is desired. Position requires bachelor’s degree in IT or similar area of discipline.

Network Engineer III –Security & VPN Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a network engineer III. A minimum of ten plus (10+) years of experience in the IT security and networking field is required for this position. Candidates must have a strong understanding of security, networking, IP, protocols and telecommunications. They must also have very strong technical writing and communications skills. Candidates must have an expert understanding of Cisco Security technologies, including FWSM, ASA, IDS/IPS, MARS, VPN, Cisco ACS, and NAC implementation, deployment and support. Knowledge of other vendor security solutions and deployment is recommended. Candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and have U.S. citizenship. Certification CCIE, CCNP, CCSP, CISSP or equivalent is desired. Position requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or similar area of discipline.

Technical Lead – Infrastructure Location: Northern Virginia
THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. is seeking a technical lead. A minimum of 15+ years of experience in the IT security and networking field is required. Candidates must have a strong understanding of security, networking, IP, protocols and telecommunications. They must have exceptional technical writing and communications skills. Candidates must also have an expert understanding of network technologies, including routing, switching, NAC, IPT, data center, servers, deployment and support. Knowledge of other vendor solutions and deployment is required. In this position, great consultative, communications and writing skills are required. This position will require 10% travel. Candidates must be able to hold a security clearance and must have U.S. citizenship. Certifications including CCIE, CCSP, CISSP and ITIL V3 are highly desired. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or similar area of discipline.
