Quality Assurance/Control

THE CENTECH GROUP (CENTECH) has a strong commitment to quality in its management of products and services. As a means to supporting that commitment, CENTECH has established a program of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification. CENTECH achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in January 2010 and has maintained that ongoing certification through the semi-annual inspections from certified ISO auditors. CENTECH was also certified ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 in February 2011.

CENTECH provides the latest, best practices for product and service development and maintenance. In March 2010, CENTECH was reassessed under a Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) and it was again determined to have met the goals of CMMI Maturity Level 3. This initiative enables the organization to:

more explicitly link management and engineering activities to the organization’s business objectives
expand the scope of and visibility into the product life cycle and engineering activities to ensure that the product or service meets customer expectations
incorporate lessons learned from additional areas of best practice (e.g., measurement and risk management)
implement more robust high-maturity practices
address additional organizational functions critical to a project’s products and services
more fully comply with relevant ISO standards
develop a comprehensive project assessment capability with client and corporate oversight
